Human needs irrespective of their race, colour and socioeconomic status are the same. We all desire to be joyful, fulfilled and pleased with ourselves. In an attempt to achieve a state of being inwardly satisfied, many people have been caught in the web of addiction, wrong associations, criminal acts, and false beliefs that they never desired or anticipated and the big question still remains…are they satisfied? Perhaps, you have everything that should make a man happy (such as a good job, money, fame, good health, lovely relationships etc) yet inwardly you have a sense of emptiness, insecurity and dissatisfaction. Well, I certainly can tell you that your feeling is common to all men. There is inner vacuum in every human that can only be filled by the Creator and all our struggles without Him would yield no result. I am the vine; you are the branches. Today, permit me to introduce you to the ultimate Creator; a friend that is closer than a brother; a loving father that forgives the past, present and secures the future. He is the source of real satisfaction; that is not person, time or place-driven. His name is Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. He once said “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]” Matt 11:28
Inviting Jesus into your heart?
To invite Jesus in to your life is unimaginably as simple as ABC.
- Acknowledge that you are a sinner and you need him;
- Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God who came to die for the sins of the whole world and resurrected on the third day. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begottenSon, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”– John3:16.
- Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus as Lord and Saviour. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”. Rom10:9
If you have done that, I can assure you Jesus is in you right now, you are now a member of God’s family, and you will begin to enjoy the joy that is indescribable.
